Stitchwork support
Something not right, or a question we haven't answered below? Email support@mclabs.xyz. A real person reads every message.
When you write, it helps to include your iPhone model (for example "iPhone 15") and what happened just before the problem. A screenshot helps too.
Purchases
I bought the unlock but chapters 2 and 3 are still locked
- Make sure you're signed in to the App Store with the same Apple ID you bought it with.
- In Stitchwork, open Settings and tap Restore purchase. (It's also on the Unlock card.)
- If it still doesn't unlock, email us with the date of the purchase. Please don't send your receipt's payment details.
I got a new phone or reinstalled the game
The unlock belongs to your Apple ID, so you never pay twice. Open Settings → Restore purchase on the new install.
Can my family use the unlock?
Yes. The unlock supports Family Sharing. Anyone in your Apple Family Sharing group can install Stitchwork, open Settings → Restore purchase, and get chapters 2 and 3 at no extra cost. If it doesn't appear, check that purchase sharing is turned on in your Family Sharing settings.
I want a refund
Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I don't want my child to make purchases
Use Screen Time: Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → iTunes & App Store Purchases. With Family Sharing you can also turn on Ask to Buy.
Your progress
Where is my progress saved?
On your device. There's no account or cloud save, so nothing about you is stored online. If you use iCloud Backup, your workshop comes back when you restore that backup onto a new iPhone.
I deleted the app and lost my progress
Deleting the app deletes its saved progress, unless you restore it from a device backup. Your purchase isn't lost: use Restore purchase to unlock chapters 2 and 3 again.
Photos
Saving a photo doesn't work
Stitchwork needs permission to add photos. Open the Settings app → Privacy & Security → Photos → Stitchwork and choose Add Photos Only. Stitchwork can't see the photos already in your library.
Playing
Tracing is hard for me
There's no fail state: a wobbly line still cuts and sews, and the needle waits for you. If you'd rather skip tracing, turn on Quick cut in Settings and the shears cut each piece by themselves.
Motion, sound and vibration
Settings has Reduced motion (calmer camera and twirls), separate Sound and Music switches, and Haptics.
Does it need the internet?
No. Stitchwork plays fully offline. You only need a connection to buy or restore the unlock. The game also sends a few anonymous counts when it's online (see the privacy policy).
Read how we handle data in the privacy policy. In short, we collect no personal data.
